I'm here to tell a story,
Of the day I fell in love.
I'm here to tell a tale,
Of a midnight on a cloud.
I fell, fell, so hard for you.
The clouds couldn't catch me,
And so I knew
And I think you did too,
That I was falling to my demise.
But then I saw you rise, rise, rise.
You held me in you arms mid-fall
And drew me a paiting with your eyes.
You said all you needed to say,
Without ever muttering a single word.
And so, we flew in a speechless tango,
But we still wanted more, more, more.
I knew that I was holding on,
So you couldn't leave so soon.
The only time I let you drift away,
Was when we parted on the moon.
I was o
You break my heart into pieces
Because, do you even know what this is?
This is you, hurting again,
And I wish I could take away the pain.
I wish that you would let me in,
I'm not your enemy, I hope you see.
So just go dancing with me,
in the rainy downpour
And I'll hold on to your heart,
forevermore.
I know you and I know me
and how perfect we could be
But you will never say the words
and mine will be a whisper, and no more.
Because we always dance around the words
Tangos of lies, that follow me out the door.
So just go dancing with me,
in the rainy downpour.
And I'll hear the words you won't say
As the stormy waves hit the
Waiting, waiting, waiting by honest-hArt, literature
Literature
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Okay,
Here's the blatant truth, and
I think you need to know
She's walked away from everything
and it's time that you let her go.
She may have been the "one" for you
but there are millions like her, so
She's gone, she's left,
She's far away.
And it's time that you let go.
Now if only I could fix it all,
I would do it without a single doubt.
Because I'd much rather see you smile
And I can always wait a longer while...
Because I will always be there,
Waiting for a thousand years,
Until you've finally let go.
And you turn to me, and finally know
That I'm the one you're looking for.
A careless fantasy, no more.
I'm sorry that I walked away
Ignoring your whispers,
Begging me to stay
I'm sorry that I did you wrong
And ruined the melody
Of your harmonious song
I'm sorry that I left you there
Pretending as though
I didn't care
But mostly I'm sorry that you believed
That there was no more chance
For you and me
I'm sorry that I broke your trust
And handeled your precious heart
Like grains of dust
I'm sorry that I turned my back
Leaving wide open for
A sneak attack
And mostly I'm sorry that I then felt need,
To hold a grudge so long
For a provoked deed
But my dearest friend
It's my deepest regret to say
That after all,
You walked
I found happiness in the strangest of places
I found it right behind my sneaker shoe laces.
I found happiness in the oddest of odds
They told me "It's impossible," I said, "No, it's not."
I found happiness walking down the street
I found it behind a pigeon coop, I think.
I found happiness, while searching for hope
I found happiness in a nicely tied rope.
I found happiness on a paper in a cookie
I found happiness while my sadness played hooky.
Now I found happiness where I least expected
Just in those memories that I have neglected.
Looking upon them, I set the grudges free
And somewhere along the way, happiness found me.

Promise me you won't leave tonight
And if you must, leave on the light
Because when you're gone, I disappear
And the night seems darker without you here.
And the stars twinkle just a little less
So when I see your eyes glimmer, I feel blessed
So if you go, trap them near
But still, their glow is useless without you here
And always tell me that the sun is out
And your shining smile will cure my doubt
Because the warmth will erase every fear
Because I know you are here
Because I know you can hear
Me whisper,
I love you

It doesn't take a dictionary
To find out what you're feeling
And it doesn't take the future
To realize the conclusion
Your pathway has been walken
And you expect the best of some
Your ending has no happy note
But somehow, you walk on
Ravens caw, your rainbow shines
your molten lava diamond encrusts
Happy tunes, sadistic lyrics
Your dead end wonderland

A PAINFUL MEMORY -true story-
I sat on the couch holding my knees.
"Please God make him stop...please!"
Between my sobs I squeezed,
My pillow into my chest.
The anger in his voice was so clear,
I used my hands to cover my ears.
And I just didn't want to hear,
Any more of his words.
My brother sat with utter fear in his eyes,
I could no longer ignore my mothers cries.
So slowly I listened as time went by,
I wanted it to end.
I heard her scream as he let his belt fall,
Across her back, still crying, I heard it all.
I built up the courage and made the call,
"We'll send a unit over."
Fifteen minutes passed, an eternity.
Fifteen years old, scared as I could be
Living in a world of imagination, where reality is only a dream away.

yes, yes.
I am not lying to you.
I am INDEED alive and well.
SIX MONTHS. wow. WOW.
I can't even believe it.
So here's a long story short (very, very short): I lost my password in my brain. DeviantArt didn't provide any help in the relocation. I sat in my room defragging my head last night about other unrelated stuff--and it suddenly jumped into my head. Literally POUNCED!
so yes, I'm back and I hope to update soon. Very soon, I promise.
I hope you didn't miss me too much.
I missed you all far too much, though.

AGREED?
I'm going to write out my wishlist
in terms of song titles.
Now if anyone else was to do this,
I'm sure theirs would turn out much better...
As I am rather challenged in terms of the music out there
Since I just buy off of iTunes
whatever I feel in love with on the radio.
ps- I don't necessarily like all these songs, most I skip through,
but I guess now is their time to brag and flourish.
